What it is: a teacher-presented video for every syllabus dot point, plus hundreds of exam-style questions with sample answers and video solutions. Sold mostly through schools — 90% of top-performing schools, by their count.
Costs: A$150 per subject for 12 months, or A$60/month for up to 7 subjects. No free trial listed.
Honest cons: same video for every student. And check first — if the school already runs it, you may be paying twice.
What it is: a human. One subject, one hour a week, someone who notices when your kid's eyes glaze over and tries another way.
Costs: A$70–90/hour at a company like Cluey; A$35–70 for a uni student, A$90–110 for a qualified teacher, A$140+ for a specialist. Call it A$3,000 a year for one subject.
Honest cons: doesn't scale to six subjects, quality varies wildly, and the explaining stops when the hour does. Still the right call for some kids — see below.

Get the tutor. Some kids need a human who'll notice the glazed look and won't let them off the hook. knowhere can sit underneath for the other five subjects, but it's not a replacement for that relationship.
