knowhere is a Year 12 study app for HSC and VCE students, built around a simple idea: study should be shaped to the student’s brain, not the textbook’s layout. Instead of notes and highlighters, every concept in every subject is a living, interactive model students can explore, and the experience adapts to how each learner thinks, focuses and remembers. Founded by Cat Ryan and made in Australia, knowhere launches 21 September 2026 — weeks before the exams. knowhere.me
the founder
Cat Ryan spent most of her own Year 12 in the school library — removed from class for having a brain that moved fast and sideways, taking notes in pictures. She sat the exams anyway and walked out with an ATAR of 92, mostly without attending class. The gap was never ability; it was format.
Twenty years on, the kid drawing in the margins is still being told to stop — so she built knowhere: study crafted for individual brains instead of broadcast at them. She is a solo, bootstrapped founder, which means she also answers the emails.
