Aerobic System
This system operates through three stages: glycolysis, Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, producing up to 38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. While slow to reach peak output requiring 2 to 3 minutes, it can sustain ATP production indefinitely given adequate oxygen and fuel availability from carbohydrates and fats.
