Intrinsic feedback is what the learner feels directly—the weight of the ball leaving your hand, the resistance in the water, the timing of your landing. It's always available during performance and forces the athlete to build internal references. Early-stage learners often need augmented feedback (coach cues, video analysis, metrics) to know what "good" feels like, but over-reliance delays the shift to self-monitoring.
